Wow
just read through this thread and sounds like excellent progress
I have only just started researching edc15 (as found on my BMW 530d i believe) and am very interested to see how much progress you made in very little time
Just fired up WInOLS myself, with the 530d code and looked through some of the maps that (whoever created the file) had found.
Looking forward to reading that edc15 PDf as i have only ever tuned megasquirt on petrol before now :D

Hi to all! I'm pretty new here and in the software mods at all. I have some questions and hope someone will help me to understand thing better.
In edc 16 (ori file from my A3 2.0TDi BKD engine) we have seven driwer wish maps. When I'm changing them can I do them all to be same or this is wrong?

Hi i am new in this forum and in chiptuning. My english is bad but i thing you will undestand me.From 2 day i watch youtube and read about chiptuning,Winols. how to find the maps. Forgot to tell about my car Audi A4 2002 year 1.9PD AVF quattro. I want litle more power a i decide to chip it myself.I know that can`t do it for a week or 2 but really want to learn.I dont do it for the money , i have money for chiptuning, i do it for myself because i want to learn new thing(not GURU).I am plan to buy a cable to read the firmware (.bin) of the car after 2-3 days. I cant understand the checksum? What is checksum why is need. And other question can i remap with WINOLS DEMO and write to car or i must register it?

Hi,
1. The MPPS cable allows you to read and write ecu flash content. This is the cheapest solution (I mean clone)
2. Winols can recaclulate checksums. The chechsums are kind of code protections before accidencial code damage in normal conditions.
3. Only registered version of Winols can save your job.

What version of mpps(clone) is good.MPPS v13 or v12 will be good to chip my car?
