Orginal engine broke after 2 turbo craches runs but sounds realy bad and got an e60 Engine Free :-)

I dont Think its New type of injectors i have seen those in newer BMWs on work :-)

Rpm Freak Can you make me New software when i see thats Engine is running?

Yes i can make you a good map for your engine. First start the car, then fill out the form on this page http://www.editecu.com/ and send the original file from the ECU that will run the engine. You must send the correct part number of the old and the new injectors. This is needed for calibration of the injection duration and SOI maps.

I HAVE ONE QUESTION ???
MY daily driver car IS BMW E39 193 HP manual
my hi pressure pump make 1400 bar
with gt 2056 that max boost came 1.55 bar
i want a little more power from it
with gt 2260 from 231 hp m57 engine
and 218 hp pressure pump this update i think it be came a good daily car
did some one made it

Na got some trubble with sensors like High Presure pump connectors to controll rail presure and like all ready know the injectors are not the same and works different. Crankshaft sensor on e39 is on the side when e60 sensor is located between engine and gearbox using HAL effekt sensor 3pin old e39 use standard 2pin style :/ havend come any way near the goal... :/ Bought a new car E61 535D and started to build on that instead.

New software for DDE called stage 2 haha

Remove EGR DPF CAT and Sensors in exhaust thats not needed anymore.

4" 600x300mm Intercooler and waiting for my new turbo going to change from twinturbo to singel turbo.

Hopfully i can get around 450-500hp next problem can be transmision thats a 6speed automatic :/ But rigt now its take the power without problems i think im around 380hp

Would like to continue this topic on these differences

Been thinking to put E60 535d injectors (not the Piezo ones of later E60) in my E39 530d

Has any body any experience in doing so ? Will they fit and respond in a good manner to the different Ecu / Dde ?

Hey Dennis,

well, i would not do that. The spray pattern is too different for comfort while on full throttle. E6x 535d has Bosch DLLA 160 P 1415 nozzle with 160 degrees and E39 530d has Bosch DLLA 145 P 926 nozzle with only 145 degrees spray angle.

Even so a lot of people run that setup, i would not be sure if it doesn't melt your pistons on long terms. It may hold for some 1 to 5th gear acceleration, but here in Germany where you can drive for minutes flatout Vmax, i would have serious doubts if the pistons would withstand that strain.

What horsepower you want to achive? Alpina D10 Injectors would be a good way to get to around 280 hp with only little smoke. Officially they cost a lot of money but you get the nozzles itself for around 50 Euros a piece and then you just have to give them with your injectors to Bosch and let them assemble it. Together with a 3 Bar Boost Sensor and a 1800 Bar Rail Pressure Sensor you can easily get 250 hp with stock GT2556V Turbo and like 1500 to 1550 Bar Rail Pressure or 280 hp with 1600 Bar pressure. Your CP1 pump does that easily from around 3500 to 4000 rpm.

I recently swapped my M57D25 out of my Opel Omega 2.5 DTI for a M57D30 from 530d E39 with new injectors from Bosch and 3 Bar Boost Sensor + 1800 Bar Rail Pressure Sensor. Did the software myself and for the moment it runs fine at 2,4 Bar Boost, 1450 Bar rail pressure with only 70 mm³ of fuel (3000 - 4400 rpm) for the moment.

I have GM 5L40-E automatic transmission so i will not go on more torque lower down but more power from 3500 rpm up soon. Have to recalibrate my injection duration maps for that and then i will run maybe 1550 or 1600 bars in high revs.

Sorry, but over 300hp is still doable on pre-TU M57 on E60.. i had a manual trans E60 530d, that made 322hp and 725nm if r recall correctly...

But E39 and E60 pre-LCI differ in the way descibed above... CP3 instead of CP1 and another turbo :D
