- It is possible to make a remap without a dyno.

- You can put 530d turbo, i would rather advise you to make a hybrid with combining the E39 + E60 turbos (2560). The turbo has to be from an early E60 or late E39 which is vacum controlled and not electrically.

- Your gearbox can put up to 1000nm, but how long? You need to keep in mind when your driving with a remap, not allways pedal to the metal.

- 220hp tops...

Add this to the list:
- Bigger nozzles,
- Bigger IC

Why rather not buying a 30d engine in the first place and swapping?

If you change the turbo i think it's possible.

Your fuel pressure was to low. That means the fuel pump where not able to provide the amount of needed fuel.

If its only with your "tuned" software you may increased your railpressure way to high?

If this happens without any tuning your fuel filter / sensor / or the fuel-pump may not be working correctly...

Hi mate,
I think you must change the feed pump and Diesel filter, but also can do a trick:
Look for this string in 16bit LoHi:972,051.(can find on begin of dump)
Value 051 is KDF unterer Kraftstoffdruckfuehler, real value is in mV factor 4,887586, mean 249,3mV.Change this value for 26(mean 125mV)and your problem is solved.
The higher value 972 is Oberer SRC Kraftstoffdruckfuehler, mean 972x4,887586=4750,7mV, no need to change.

Am i interpreting right that you advise him to decrease the feedpump lower limiter

This may damage your commonrail pump. Lowering this value will result that your car allowes more feed pump pressure drops.
Resulting in lower fuel amount provided for the commonrail pump which may damage it...
If you dont know excactly that your feed pumps provided fuel ist enough on this lower value dont change it.

Better buy a "stronger" feed pump or change your "incorrect" railpressure...

If you know these bit Limiters exactly i doubt that there exists a damos file for e60 engines?
May you share it?
