I've been told by alot of tuners, mainly the big 3 of the German community (Brabus, Carlsson, Renntech) That the W204 CGI engine use a Siemens ECU which is unhackable. Can anyone confirm this or has anyone created a map?

Cannot see the picture but aparently is uses a Siemens sid271 continental ecu with tc1796 processor or higher.

The car is a Mercedes Benz c200 inline 4 turbo, labeled CGi blue efficiency engines. Direct injection and small turbo which I think is a IHI turbo though I don't know what model and the people at IHI have been less than helpful. The engine is the M271 Evo engine from what I understand. That's most of the information I've managed to find myself through all my research as no one seems interested in this car which is odd since the c180/200 is a good portion of bulk sales in Europe and Asia while the c250 its USA counterpart which I believe either uses a larger turbo or just different tuning since its much faster, sells well in the states.

Any more information on the tune you're developing?

since 1st April (not a joke tho) our X17 is able to read and write those ECUs - so problem is solved by "common tools" as well :)

Any chances I can get more information of remapping w204 c200 1.8T with Siemens ECU actually?

Heard some shops really are able to do it now. I am very much interested in doing it. Please help.
