Am I in trouble? 5WP4372

Postby irfas » Thu Jul 06, 2017 6:34 pm

My personal car VW Bora 1.6 petrol decided to stop responding to both of the keys. The immobilizer light flashes, when I try to start the car.I decided for the first time to try make immo-off. And I made a newbie mistake.
I pulled out the ecu, desoldered 93c56, read it, used the immo kill software to fix the file and write it back to the same ECU. I made a copy of original file, but as a 8-bit file. Problem is that was not a 8-bit chip, but 16!. So basically what I did is damaged original dump of 93c56, and I got useless copy, form which I have no use of it. Original chip is written over it. So, I asking you and myself, now what? Go to kill myself? Or there is some kind of solution?
