Yea, regarding that limitation your're right. That's a missing of limiters..but i said about case then you can request in all limiters 100 mg of fuel..there will not be never 100 mg even if on logs you can see 100.
To be sure about limiters always logs logs logs.
Audi a6 2.5 doesnt have vp44 pump? That's how i knew..mine has vp44 pump with internal ECM which calculates even dynamic advance based on several sensors values.
From bosch documentation vp44 pump, i can say that vp44 settings for normal cars are max 80mm3 and for trucks are 125 mm, only the software is different, the hardware is the same.
On dyno with this vp44 you can request 65 mg, you can request 85 mg, power will be the same, no more fuel from vp44 ECM..some guys put bigger nozzles = more fuel with less advance, well less stress on the engine and less driver iq request.
Also i know that vp44 dies for 2 reasons..one, electronic chip some condesators dies because of heat, and another issues is because of euro5 too dry fuel which affects advance pyston. Some of us keep pump longevity with 2T oil to lubricate the pump.

The power of Audi 180 hp comes from 2 more cylinders not for more fuel per stroke.
60 mg on my car will develop around 155 hp, and same 60mg on audi 6 cylinders will develop 230 240+ hp based on thermodynamics calculations. I know that there are some tricks to eliminate Bosch pump limit..some tapwire tricks but doesnt worth, with this comes more and more changes, bigger turbo, XXL IC, siliconic hoses, performance flywheel and clutch , bigger nozzles:) and so on, better directly but 550i :D

For 8E0907401 EDC15x ecu to show injection quantity above 50mg you have to change 2 extra torque limiters, then you can get diagnostic values till 80mg or sometimes more. So diagnostics won't help finding those single values. There are some more probably active limiters from 50-70mg but those does not limit diagnostic values too.

Are those real? I bet it could be. I will start working on it and check performance gains after a week or two.

Okay , well i just said that i increased fuekl IQ from 52 mg original(136hp) to 65 mg on dyno = ~160 hp. Increased more turbo and fuel to 70+ . no more dyno power, thats why i said that vp44 is limited even if in your ecu you increase any limiter.

juice, you are missing the thread. Thread is about Audi A4 2.5 TDI,
not about BMW 320d. Users will get confused and miss leaded.

I will repeat once again:

Pump limitation is actually not at 50mg in this car, that is ECU limitation.

BMW does not have same pump, your car has 4 cylinders and 136hp, Audi a4 2.5 TDI has 6 cylinders and 180hp...
Pump is not same.

(if you read my all previous comments I do not mention that vp44 pump limitation is not present),
I say that 50mg is ECU limitation here, pump limitation in this car is way higher.

I didnt say that is 50, i`m not talking strictly about this car, i started the comments about VP44(shitty pump) which have a limit, and of course the pump from 2.5 and from my car is the same, only output pipes are different, but is a shitty vp44:)

Hi,
I have only experience with AFB
Limitation is as far as I know is 55 (o 56)
AKE is also “old 2,5” so I suppose cannot be less
BR,
Przemek
P.S.
I can see in my old AFB in log 008 and in 001 values like 55 but of course I don’t know if injectors give it. I saw in few tuned-files and logs made with vagcom (published by owners on internet) also values like 55 so maybe is so...

Hi, how do you know you was getting the requested fuel? on my car I get 59mg on vcds without modding these single values. thanks
