807 2.2HDI. Where to have original map? and other questions?

Postby kadakim » Sun Apr 20, 2014 5:18 pm

Hello all,

I have several Fap DTC errors for one month now. I want to remove this FAP s***t

I Have borrowed a MPPS V13 from a friend to delete FAP on my Peugeot 807 2.2 HDI from my ECU.

I have read my ecu file Bosh-EDC15C2COMMONRAILEURO3.Bin (hw:0281012141-sw:1037378622), using MPPS soft.
But I 'd like to have an original file to start from a clean state.

(ecusafe, EGR remover, volta).
I've read that ecusafe is quit good to remove FAP.
Do i need also to remove the EGR?
What volta is supposed to do?

Also I nothing to read/reset error codes.
Do I need to get another dungle (EML321/diagTool) to do so?

Thanks for your help.

ECU Safe works on edc15, also Volta works the same.

No need to disable egr unless you plan to blank it or have a fault on the valve.

Run std file through ecu safe and flash back

To read the error is better to use a cable Lexia / PeugeotPlanet200 (DiagBox), its price is $ 100 and more.

Some programs are compatible with EML321 will show errors.
You can buy a cable USB KL-Line chip FTDI (10-15 $) set CASCADE 0.9.3 and read any brand of car. But normally only show the standard errors. Errors concern PSA will only display the number of errors.

There are two different program's EGR Remover and AES Universal EGR Remover.
To remove the EGR use AES Universal EGR Remover.
Programs ecusafe and volta not remove EGR from ECU15C2.
