Yes, i understand you perfect. My problem is only write english posts..

I have only EDC16 ECU's to select in the Lists in Volta, so i think its made specially for EDC16XX units.
But so far, i'm a "noob" in Map Changes and understanding more than the standard Maps do in the Software..
The only thing i could say:
A few Weeks ago, i use Volta to turn the DPF/FAP off (Passat 3C, 2.0 TDI) and everything works fine. The whole electric and the DPF was removed and the Car don't have any errors or strange issues.

I hope at least one of the two solutions takes effect for you :-)

I think we all have this problem when writing :P

I have more faith on volta than ecusafe, it's always been a bad program for me...

Well, i've been watching around and what I really have to do is to change TWO bytes, not only one, so it comes from this:

7F 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 02 01 01 00 0C 3B 0D 03

to this:

7F 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 02 00 00 00 0C 3B 0D 03

I attach the file. Can anyone please check the checksums again please?

Or, can anyone tell me how to check the checksums in WINOLS? thanks!

Corrected the Checksums again for you.. (Attached File)..
WinOls does automatically detect checksums, if you have the right "drivers" for the ECU installed..
So, load the binary, and winols should ask to correct, or correct the checksums after loading complete..

i've turned on the car like 10 times today. No fap anywhere with the 00 00 option ;) no check engine light, no FUC*ING BEEP SOUND, no "anomaly" message... perfect. It's working absolutely perfect!

Anyway it keeps emmitting loads of black smoke. I will have to disassemble the injectors, and see how they are...

Thanks a lot!!!!

Affirmative

I did a lot of cars with this solution
What is important is preserved DTC table
This is a graceful shutdown of FAP in this ECU. 100% works solution.

ECUSafe is a bad tool only earsin DTC-Table, bad for a car and not dpf off
VOLTA 1.3 do a single switch and dpf is off, but also excludes a lot of other unnecessary mistakes

Best Regards :D

I've got exactly the same problems .
One switch solution works but car is coming back with errors related to the additive level.
Some examples coming back with level to high the other with level to low .

I can remove fault codes and everything is fine but smoke is another issue .
