Postby Vito_ » Sat Feb 04, 2017 4:13 pm

Hi

I'm aiming to 230hp and 485Nm and EGR off.

Please look at my mod. Schould i modify VGT? What else should i mod. What to do with smoke limitaters?

Stock boost is 1,42bar im going for 1,55bar

Thanks for help.

I change EGR percentage, and lambda limitation map in MOD2 version.

Stock IQ map is calibrated for 500Nm so i didn't change it. Am i right?

VGT map - now stock (maybe higher volumes in last column from 2750 to 4500?)

to 230hp you do not. Power = torque to the product of the engine speed.

No need to use hysteresis map here. Just change EGR switch.
I drove near 7000km with hysteresis maps. Then found EGR switch, turned it off and set stock EGR hysteresis maps, and disconnected EGR connector.
Everything working like butter!
BTW EGR switch in your ecu is at 1CAC4. Select view in 8bit.
You will see:
00 00 00 00 FF FF FF FF FF FF 00 30 00 97 00 30
00 30 00 30 00 97 00 30 00 30 02 02 01 00 00 47
00 02 00 04 00 00 13 88 00 01 00 08 1B B3 20 00

Change 02 to 00 for EGR governor permanently disabled.
Remember to disconnect EGR! It seems that the voltage goes to 100% when disabled, so EGR will be 100% opened if you don't disconnect it.
You won't have any DTC or errors anywhere, it's fully disabled!

To reach 230hp you will need 85-90mm3 fuel. Your stock IQ duration has max. 80, you will have to extrapolate it based on 60-80 difference (linear interpolation).
Rise torque limiters, IQ limiters x rpm and IQ lim. x Temp..

And to avoid P0401 after driving a while, do this:

Don't like Your dw and tl mod. You can increase 4 last columns with 20% for example. Your car will be more alive. About tl - increase it with 15% from 2500 up to 4500 and finish with 10% in 4750. I suggest to start from 1750 with about 3-4% and make it rise it linear to 2500. from 200 to 230 hp is quite safe. EGR is not closed in Your mod. If You decide to get more power, You should make corrections for durations map. And temperature limmiters should be increased too.

My advice is to calculate accurate torque block for increasing amount of engine rpm, because 15% from 250 Nm 287,5 and 15% from 350 is over 400 Nm... Simply: to change absolute, not percentage :)
