1.8T AWT first time

Hey guys !

i just bought an vw passat 1.8T awt from 2001,

and i really would like some more power of it ! :twisted:

but i am totally new to this ! :crazy:

i have vcds lite, and an cheap ebay cable, :geek:

can i use any of that to getting some more power ? :lolno:

You will need a tool to read the ecu, something like an mpps will work fine, then you will need a program to tune your stock map like win OLS.

I got an powergate 3,

but it is out of credits :(

can't i read it out with my vagcom cable ?

no you have to buy a flashing tool vcds is just a diagnostic tool

i used my kkl vagcom cable, and nefmoto, and i got the stock file out,

but i dont know where to start, to get the file mapped,
